Spoiler Warning!Sotha Sil in his chambers

Greetings Master Claws,

I spoke with Sotha Sil and explained what had transpired between Mephala, Clavicus Vile and myself. He saw the logic behind my choices and also let me know that in order to repair Transparent Law, a relic of divine energy would be needed. And that the only way to fix this whole situation was to use it to repair Transparent Law. This would bring the Crystal Tower’s defences back and repel Nocturnal.

Sotha Sil

I met with all of my companions, said the appropriate goodbyes and am taking a final respite before the end. I know that this might be the end of my adventures. And if I failed, the end of all adventures.

Raz as always was in good humor. He did have some good news. Queen Ayrenn promised to work with the other alliances to send a mighty force to help us deal with this threat. He also had some bad news. They wouldn’t arrive until long after the threat is done. Sadly he won’t be joining us on the final leg of our journey either as he is required back in Summerset should the worst befall us.

I know that this might be the end of my adventures. And if I failed, the end of all adventures.

Val and Leythen had managed to come to some sort of terms with each other. Their relationship will never be what it used to be, but at least they seem to have reached an understanding. Facing the end of the world will have that effect on people.

I have come to learn much about their relationship since first meeting them. It is much more deep and complex than one might think at first glance. The death of their daughter was a catalyst in them becoming who they are today.

Valsirenn and Leythen come to an understanding

Val poured all of her energy to finding ways to curing their daughter, and Leythen felt that she should have been there with them during that awful time. It was this rift that caused him to find another path. That doesn’t excuse his choices, but it certainly explains a great deal about why he made them.

The promise of being able to remake the world. To end all suffering.

As he tells it, the Court of Bedlam offered him a purpose when his life had lost all meaning. The promise of being able to remake the world. To end all suffering. The only price is to turn on the ones that you loved. I hope that I am never in a position to face that choice.

Darien Gautier the Golden Knight

Darien was well, Darien. All he wants is to have a final hurrah before we storm off to battle. I don’t blame him. I could use a sip of mead or two to see me off.

And that just leaves you. This may be my final correspondence. I want you to know that I am grateful for all you have taught me through this time. If you don’t hear from me again, know that I did the best I could with the tools available to me.

It is time now. Death or Glory awaits. Send a prayer Stendarr’s way for me for good fortune. I’m going to need all I can get.

Respectfully,
Tiberious Maximillion III
